The 3.5 inch LCD touch display marks the beginning of a new era on the bike. Thanks to a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, you can read all your data with pin-sharp clarity.
Despite the LCD display, the Edge 1050 offers a battery life of up to 20 hours. For longer adventures, the energy-saving mode offers a battery life of up to 60 hours.
GroupRide makes it easy to organize group rides. Share the route and stay in touch with all participants during the ride, receive accident notifications, compare yourself in leaderboards and win awards.
Share information about danger spots with the community and get more tips about potholes or obstacles. Danger zones are also displayed in the Edge route planner so that you can plan routes more safely in advance.
Share your planned routes, workouts and locations quickly and easily with other compatible Garmin devices.

With the new route planner, routes can be planned quickly and easily directly on the Edge 1050 - even without a smartphone and internet connection. The new filter option in your route library makes it easier to search for routes you have already planned.
Select a point in the iOS Maps app on your iPhone® and send the position directly to the Edge 1050 via the Garmin Connect app. Receive a route and let yourself be navigated to the position.

Multi-frequency: High-precision route recording thanks to multi-frequency reception of global satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO) - even in narrow mountain valleys or urban canyons.
ClimbPro: With the tried and tested ClimbPro function - even without a previously loaded route - you receive information about upcoming climbs with details of the gradient, remaining distance and altitude of the climb. So you can manage your strength perfectly.
Garmin Pay: Edge 1050 - the first bike computer with Garmin Pay. Simply make contactless payments and enjoy the freedom of riding without cash. A good feeling of being able to be spontaneous and independent anywhere and at any time.
Power Guide: helps you to find the optimal power input for your route and its elevation profile to create a performance strategy for your route. To support you even better, the Power Guide now also takes your stamina and wind conditions into account.
Staminaresidual energy: tracks your performance during cycling training and shows you the energy available to you during your physical activity. This allows you to optimize your energy consumption during your activity and avoid premature exhaustion.

Integration of electronic groupsets: Previously, SRAM electronic groupsets could only display data such as battery level, gears or gear ratio. With the introduction of the new SRAM RED AXS, it is now possible to operate data pages and settings of the Edge via the shifters. This has already been possible with SHIMANO Di2 groupsets for several years.

• Integrated aero cockpits or handlebar/stem solutions require individual mounts.
• These brackets fit into the aerodynamic design of the handlebars and are designed by the respective bicycle or handlebar manufacturer together with the handlebars. The round handlebar mount supplied with your aero mount cannot be used with aero cockpits or handlebar/stem solutions. To create space for the speaker, the swivel mount on the Edge 1050 had to be moved upwards. As a result, it can happen that the mounts of the aero cockpits or handlebar/stem solutions from manufacturers are too short and the Edge 1050 cannot be screwed in as a result.
