The CS-HG710-12 is a 12-speed cassette at 105 level. With a gradation of 11-36 teeth, it has the widest range of all cassettes developed by Shimano for gravel and road bike use to date. Whether on flat ground or on the mountain, you will always find the right gear ratio. The gradation has been optimised for pedalling efficiency. The first eight sprockets are more closely spaced to allow for natural gear jumps, while the largest four sprockets are further apart to allow fore more flexibility. Use the HG710 cassette in combination with the 105 Di2 RD-R7150 rear derailleur.

Shimano Hyperglide cassettes (HG cassettes) have strategically-positioned ramps and special tooth profiles so that the chain can be completely guided directly onto the next sprocket. This prevents the chain from just touching the tips of the teeth before it actually touches down. This optimises the chain guide and enables fast, highly efficient shifting.
